We originally planned to shoot both the ceremony and reception at the pub, but the space was too awkward. We kept it for the reception and began looking for a separate ceremony location.
While scouting the waterworks opposite the pub, we found ourselves standing in a shrubland car park with the pub in the background. That’s when the idea clicked. I suggested transforming it into a community wildflower garden.
We built in greenery, wildflowers and prop trees, and constructed a moss-covered brick aisle, turning an overlooked space into the ceremony location.
