Reverse Archer might be one of my favorite @foundationtraining Training movements for surfers. As surfers, we spend years rotating in the same direction, loading the same hip, same shoulder, same neck patterns over and over again. For me, doing the Reverse Archer in switch stance helps “untwist” my body from the position I constantly surf in. I feel:• better thoracic rotation• less tension through my shoulders and neck• improved movement through my spine• activation and lengthening through my back-leg glute Sometimes I’ll even feel my thoracic spine adjust naturally during the movement. Surfing creates asymmetry.You need movements that restore balance back into the system. For surfers, paddlers, foilers, and swimmers I’d suggest you find midline and squeeze the thighs towards it. Same with cyclists, same with people driving and flying. The knee squeeze supports center, and a well centered center makes everything easier…

Simple isometrics, an 8 Point Plank and an Anchored Bridge offer stable opportunities for massive pain relief. A little soft tissue to stimulate fascia-muscle-nerve flow such as @sprttherapy is a powerful addition to @foundationtraining treatments, for all of our practitioners it’s something to note. My friends Ryan and Lindsay started this as a food truck many years ago in Boulder Colorado. It’s been good to watch them succeed, even hitting a successful @sharktankabc deal some years back. They keep creating new styles of their proteins and foods. I love their name @rollingreens and the people behind it. If you’re near a Costco this weekend I know they have them in Santa Barbara, Hawaii and other fancy places. Proud of you @chefoko @lindseymariecunningham and @rollingreens
