🚨🚨🚨Repost from @justicecommittee Zaiden was 4-months-old when his father, #DelrawnSmall, was shot in front of him. He’s now 9, but he still hasn’t seen his father’s killer, NYPD Officer Wayne Isaacs, disciplined. For the past decade, Officer Isaacs, his police union, and the NYPD have played every trick in the book to evade any and all accountability while Delrawn’s family grieves. Even though @CCRB_NYC substantiated fireable charges against Isaacs back in 2020, Isaacs still hasn’t even faced a discipline trial. UNACCEPTABLE! 🚨TAKE ACTION 🚨 📩Send @NYCMayor @NYPDPC a message to schedule the trial and finally #FireWayneIsaacs! bit.ly/fire-isaacs 📞Call Commissioner Tisch and urge her to schedule the trial: bit.ly/callfordelrawn 🔗links in bio 🎥 video by @capitalbnews

The Caribbean Equality Project is deeply saddened by the passing of Kiara St. James—a fearless advocate, trailblazer, and beloved member of our community whose life and work touched countless people. As the founder and Co-Executive Director of the New York Transgender Advocacy Group (NYTAG), Kiara dedicated her life to advancing equity, safety, and liberation for transgender people, especially Black trans women who are too often pushed to the margins.

🚨🚨🚨Repost from @cuny4palestine • The students demand CCNY’s Colin Powell School immediately remove and replace Linda Thomas-Greenfield as the 2026 commencement speaker. As UN Ambassador, Linda Thomas-Greenfield repeatedly voted AGAINST a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the entry of humanitarian aid. We refuseto normalize the platforming of perpetrators of genocide and crimes against humanity on our campuses. Please join us in demanding CCNY President Vince Boudreau, Colin Powell School Dean Marc Ostfield, and the school’s administration immediately remove and replace Linda Thomas-Greenfield as the 2026 commencement speaker. 🚨🚨🚨🚨Repost from @atlblackstar Thousands gathered Saturday in Montgomery to demand a new era of voting rights protections as battles over congressional redistricting and Black political representation intensify across the South. The rally took place on deeply symbolic ground — in front of the historic Alabama Capitol, where the Confederacy was formed in 1861 and where Martin Luther King Jr. spoke in 1965 at the end of the Selma-to-Montgomery Voting Rights March. Leading chants of “We won’t go back” and “We fight,” activists and community leaders warned that hard-fought civil rights gains are under threat as conservative-led states redraw maps critics say weaken Black voting power. “This is sacred soil,” Cory Booker told the crowd. “If we in our generation do not now do our duty, we will lose the gains and the rights and the liberties that our ancestors afforded us.” The stage itself stood between statues of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and civil rights icon Rosa Parks — a striking reminder of the nation’s ongoing fight over history, power, and democracy. ‼️‼️‼️Repost from @atlblackstar • A historic African American cemetery in Palmetto was left in ruins after vandals knocked over 17 headstones and spray-painted “Trump” and “DeSantis” across several graves in red paint, according to investigators. The cemetery, which has served the local Black community for generations, is now at the center of an active investigation by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives believe the vandalism happened within the last few weeks, but so far no arrests have been made. For many families, the damage goes far beyond property destruction — it’s a violation of history, legacy, and the resting place of loved ones who can no longer defend themselves. Repost from @nycpym Seventy-eight years after the Nakba, hundreds of protestors took the streets of Bay Ridge to announce their continued commitment to Palestine and its people. As U.S-Zionist aggression continues to expand across the region, we will not rest until our people are free and the world is rid of Zionism and its evils.

RP @sunrisemvmtla BREAKING: 100+ Angelenos have taken over Home Depot to protest their support of ICE🚨 Sunrise LA is in solidarity with the Boycott Home Depot Coalition and is proud to participate in this direct action today with @acce_action , @cluejustice , and @la__voice . Now is the time for both labor and community to come together to say: “Not with our money!” We demand that Home Depot: • Deny ALL federal immigration agencies access to its stores and parking lots for any staging, surveilling, violence, arrests, and disappearances; and take measures to protect all day laborers and customers on their premises. • Stop surveilling license plates. Delete the data and do not share it with federal agents or sell to anyone. • Publicly denounce ICE violence, arrests, and disappearances of our community members from Home Depot parking lots and stores. • Commit to creating safe and welcoming spaces, free from harassment or intimidation, for all people, regardless of status. • Provide compensation to families negatively impacted by these anti-immigrant raids that have taken place on Home Depot premises for their pain and suffering. Want to take action with us? Comment “take action” and we’ll DM you our interest form.
