This is the first time I've worked on non-Latin scripts: Cyrillic and Bulgarian Cyrillic. I'm hardly familiar with these scripts, so I assume there's still room for improvement and I appreciate any advice. Here are some sources I worked with to get an idea of how to draw Cyrillic:
• /de/a/font/content/cyrillic-script-variations-and-the-importance-of-localisation
• /blog/rounded-bulgarian-cyrillic-narrative-and-comparison/
• /what-shall-be-done-for-bulgarian-cyrillic-loclbgr/
• Vekshyna, Yana. "Cyrillize It!" Niggli.

#MerkurTypeface for Samt Magazine (@samt_magazin ).
"Samt" is a student magazine that was launched at HAW Hamburg in 2019. It presents final and semester projects from the Design Department's courses of study and provides insights into working processes, theoretical debates, and design positions. In addition, former students will speak about possible careers and fields of work in the design sector. Projects from the fields of communication design, illustration, fashion design, costume design and textile design at HAW Hamburg will be made accessible to a wider public: Interested parties outside the university are to be reached and informed, within the university the magazine is to stimulate exchange and cooperation in the field of design. The project was led and founded by three communication design students (Alexandra Vögtle @alexvoegtle , Julika Hother @tschulzy and Katharine Watzlawick @katharinepauli ) and supported by three other students from other design departments.

This poster series was created for a series of events at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts. The series comprised a total of five event dates, to which guest speakers were invited. The design of the posters refers to the invited person and their practice. They were produced using various printing techniques in the workshops of the HFBK Hamburg. The Statik font, developed for this occasion, is used on the posters in a variety of different width, condensed to expanded. In addition, an accompanying website, which can be accessed at digitale-grafik.com/invites/ was designed and developed.
As a little perk the “The Rodina” poster features a large rotated blackletter “R”.
