Siembra was born from a feeling that exploded within us and spread like a wildfire.
A feeling filled with longing for our roots.
A pain that unites us all, and a love that pushes us not to give up, to keep fighting every day.
Siembra was born from memory:
from the smell of coffee in the morning,
the breeze of our seas,
the colors of our fields,
the vibration of our cities,
the taste of our traditional dishes,
the rhythm of our drums and our footsteps.
Siembra was born from the cry in our soul that says:
we are here, and we are not leaving.
¡Que viva Latinoamérica!
We are immensely grateful to everyone who supported us in this project.
To our jurors, curators, and artists;
EOA means community, and without you, we cannot exist.
The final days of Siembra 🌾
We’re closing the exhibition with a “Sobremesa” gathering inspired by lingering at the table after a meal, where we best connect by sharing food.
