@drrachelny “The night @the_wellness_gala felt different.
I’ve been fortunate to stand on many stages throughout my career as a psychologist — usually talking about mental health, stress, resilience, and the tools that help people navigate life a little more gently.
But this time, I wasn’t speaking about the work.
People were speaking about me🥹
And honestly… that vulnerability hit me harder than I expected.
There’s something very different about being the one holding space versus being the one seen within it. And for someone who is usually focused on helping others feel safe, supported, and understood, it was incredibly emotional to stand there and receive that same kind of reflection back.
I’m deeply grateful for this honor, for the opportunity to continue advocating for mental health, and for every person who has trusted me enough to let me be part of their journey.
Life happens to all of us , and if my voice has helped even one person feel a little less alone in theirs, then this work will always be worth it. 🤍

I feel seen and understood. There’s so much I don’t know and so much I’ve gotten wrong over the years, but I’m overwhelmed with love at this moment. Texts of support and encouragement from my community, prayers from my family and friends from way back when..
What do you say/do when your dreams come true? As @donmac6453 song says.. “after you’ve done all you can, you just stand.” I’m a little sleep deprived but peace is mine. I miss my kids/my girl but I know Love is ever present. I’m happy as hell, loopy, Strong, weak, inspired, not knowing what day it is, but I’m practicing seeing the beauty. And…. So grateful to be living That Growth Life 🌱 “
