Welcome to ENGAGE Showroom!
The less formal, but equally beautiful showcase home of our Director Jennifer Armetta is also ENGAGE’s inspirational exhibition salon that bridges the gallery experience with the home. The space not only demonstrates how magnificently our artists’ works transition into living spaces, but serves as an extension of our gallery for more intimate events, tours, artist talks and private parties. The work is rotated seasonally, and incorporates ENGAGE artists along side pieces from Jennifer’s private collection.

Congratulations to Edra Soto @edrasoto on her incredible @cnnstyle feature spotlighting the now-iconic BB Chairs. We’re taking it back to @expochicago 2025, where ENGAGE Projects first introduced this work to the world—an unforgettable moment that made it immediately clear these chairs were destined to travel far beyond the booth.
Rooted in memory, place, and the visual language of home, these works have continued to resonate on a global scale, transforming an everyday object into a powerful symbol of Puerto Rican identity, community, and cultural devotion. Seeing them now take center stage at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago @mcachicago and across international conversation feels both surreal and entirely deserved.
It’s been a privilege to witness this evolution from the very first iteration—watching the work grow, the world catch up, and Edra continue to shape the conversation with clarity, generosity, and vision.
Here’s to taking over the world, one chair at a time. ❤️

Beautifully moderated by Maggie Meiners, the conversation brought together artists Kasia Kay and Lucy Slivinski with curator Nora Schneider—exploring material, color, and the quiet power of finding the extraordinary within the everyday.

While in #Houston last week, @vinsonvalega and I had the privilege of experiencing @rahafilsoofi and @filsoofimusic ’s collaborative performance on video display and #RahelehFilsoofi’s fantastic wall piece at the @ismailicenterhou which was breathtaking and profound. “Presented as part of the inaugural exhibition at the Ismaili Center, this presentation features two major projects by artist Raheleh Filsoofi: Imagined Boundaries and ShahTár (شهتار). The latter is a collaborative work created in partnership with musician Reza Filsoofi.”

Presenting work across varied mediums, Dancing the Revolution includes painting, sound sculptures, installations, photographs, and video, showcasing how artists have been and continue to be inspired by these histories and the visual forms that emerge from them. The exhibition features more than forty contemporary artists.

We’re halfway through our exhibition at CSI Project Space, where we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming art lovers, friends, designers and curious passerby. Each evening has taken on its own rhythm and energy ~ there’s something very powerful about experiencing art together. ENGAGE is honored to be on the Host Committee of ArtEdge 2026! The evening will include an exhibition preview with many of the Dancing the Revolution artists and curator Carla Acevedo-Yates, an intimate concert by Grammy Award-winning vocalist Macy Gray, and DJ set and dancing with Chicago’s own Shaun J. Wright. We hope to see you there!
ENGAGE Projects is excited to bring a fresh take to the gallery experience with the upcoming exhibition Moonlight: Out of the Chaos in Chicago’s historic Bucktown district. The pop-up show, organized by Director of ENGAGE Projects Jennifer Armetta, curator Nora Schneider, interdisciplinary artist Kasia Kay, and sculptor Lucy Slivinski, is a rumination on feminine forces and cyclical change, imperfection and inner peace. Moonlight
asks the questions, "How do we find the calm amidst turbulent times? What is my guiding light in the darkness?" The gallery will showcase a variety of sculpture and mixed media painting and will be host to a series of exhibition programming made to activate this space of community including cocktail hours, panel discussions, and community gatherings. from 5-9pm for the opening celebration!
