For Marina 🌈 Marina was a joy, a true sparkle of light who made every room brighter and every moment more alive. She was unapologetically, beautifully herself: silly, funny, campy, sometimes frumpy and wonderfully free. Marina gave everyone around her permission to be the same. Over the last 16 years, my favorite memories have involved, her short but mighty attitude. She didn’t just show up for the big moments — she made them. Her kindness and humor were transformative. To say she changed my life for the better and shaped me would be a profound understatement. This morning, after a long and difficult battle with cancer, we lost her far too soon. It’s a heartbreak that’s hard to put into words. Losing someone so positive and full of wit. The world feels darker today, but trust Marina will find a way to keep coloring it. You can’t contain her light in life, and I refuse to believe death will either. I’m thankful for every adventure, every laugh, every ridiculous and radiant and gay moment with you. And I promise to keep celebrating your spirit, to go out and dance even when I’m tired. Cherish your people. Hold them close. And dance until we die. 💫

Soooooo I’m taking on another role😅 (yes I’m aware it’s already a lot) 😵‍💫 but I’m excited to officially be stepping into the role of Gallery Director @epiphanyarts201 . While my schedule is already jam packed I’ll be working overtime to build out Epiphany’s robust exhibition program and providing more opportunities for artist to grow in their careers. If you’re not catching me on a dance floor you’ll have to catch me at a future exhibition opening. 🤪

Had no idea what I was doing when I started LVL3 15 years ago living in a windowless room in the back of the gallery. Getting to work with so many artist and develop ongoing friendships has been such a rewarding experience that I’m so grateful for. The 15 artist in the current anniversary show represent so many aspects of our growth as an artist run space which is on view through March 3rd. Thank you to everyone who has played a role in our programming and development. 🫶
