Tomorrow Is Denim Day — April 29 Tomorrow, we wear denim with purpose. Denim Day began after an Italian court overturned a rape conviction because the survivor was wearing tight jeans — a ruling that suggested her clothing meant consent. In response, women in Parliament wore denim in protest, declaring what we still affirm today: clothing is never consent. Since then, Denim Day has grown into a global movement rooted in solidarity, truth‑telling, and collective action. On April 29, we wear denim to: 👖 Challenge victim‑blaming 👖 Stand with survivors in every community 👖 Spark conversations that shift culture 👖 Affirm that consent is always required And we don’t do this work alone. Across the country, incredible nonprofits show up every single day to support survivors, prevent violence, and push for systemic change.
