Everyone’s got a ride-or-die-
watch your back if you watch mine.
Not for rights or without fights, nor for glory and fortune; barely chosen or born in.
Just a brother whose mother never questioned a boring kids struggle, opening arms like doorways into worlds with more ways.
More ways to love, ways to think, to treat days like gifts without a deity, critically, empathetically; truly evolving into a person every today into a better me.
Goodbye to yesterday, though I appreciate- and yes if you’ve met us you know we’re the best ‘us’ cause we believe the rest deserve just as much as the next does.
Cheers to thirty seven years.
Drink forty seven beers.
Shed not a single tear for the man you were then because the dad you are now,
who will be different next year as his little man grows, will only ever fear
the lack of his presence in this very moment.
Right now.
Right here.
Love you brother. Wish I could be there but I suppose I always am. Truth. Respect. Love.
Happy to see Ox-Bow, Lake Michigan, and ol friends. Congrats to @christenbaker_ and her lucky students for what’s proving to be a fun and successful class❤️
This cabin is called “The West” and that bathtub is full of grass.

Handmade light fixture hosting spider-made lair.
So blessed to catch @internet___angel give a genuinely inspiring artist’s talk at @speedartmuseum where her new exhibit, comprised of incredible new neon work and iterations of existing gems, invoked awe and delight for onlookers.
🤩✨🧨 hashtag-it literally killed the power
Always happy to see Ox-Bow

Go to @healerdiy for live music sometime- you won’t regret it.
Come to @tubeartspace tonight for new @bigcarpix curated installations and -of course- to see humans and their faces in real life! Hear their voices and their laughs!
See you tonight at 1125 Cruft St. Indianapolis❤️
In 2024 I did a lot, and here’s a chunk…
Worked my final hours at Ox-bow during a snowy Winter Session before relocating to Indianapolis.
Shared beautiful nature visiting my girlfriend in Pennsylvania.
Belated bachelor party / baby-moon for my best friend before he welcomed his son into the world.
Sat in awe and cried during the total solar eclipse in my favorite park days before starting a new job and learning TM from a professional instructor.
Opened a new chapter in my career helping artists with Big Car Collaborative.
Lurked behind Jim’s shot on the News as we installed SPARK on Monument Circle.
Welcomed my person to my city as we craft a life and share our journey.
Visited Ox-bow to celebrate friends and mentors and enjoy the most magical nature.
Cape Cod wedding and whale watching!
Felt welcomed by my new cohort and celebrated accomplishments in bringing art to people in this creative city.
Helped my person install an exhibit filled with impressive and beautiful work for the neighborhood to enjoy.
Went to a Pacer’s game with old friends and a new pseudo-nephew. I think we won.
For the first time ever, and with a one-in 7,776 chance, I rolled six of a kind with my lucky number while playing Farkle.
Cheers and happy new year.
Follow your dreams. This New Year’s Eve write a word or phrase on a post-it-note, like the actual paper square with the sticky edge, and put it on the fridge, or in a drawer, or offer it to a flame. And for 2025, manifest your interpreted meaning of the word or words you wrote.
I once wrote “Dog” on a post-it note one New Year’s Eve and by goodness…
Model cred: @christenbaker_
Happy 20 years drumming anniversary me! Still one of the most freeing and creative outlets!
Begged for a kit for years before September 7th, 2004 when a family friend gifted me a loaner. I decided I would never forget the date.
I brought this kit to my high-school show-and-tell to play this song for my speech class.
