When Caitlin asked me back in November if I would help with directing the creative for her brand’s shoots, I immediately knew that there was no one else I wanted to work alongside on this with than Ollie. Lots of change, travel, hotel rooms, spending more intentional time with friends and family, fun jobs, cool clients I’m very grateful for, and doing up a bathroom/flat with @jjjjjackw ❤️🔥 been busy and eye bags are deeper than ever!
I’ve been painting and designing bits in my free time for a while now. Always wanted to dedicate time to showcasing and maybe even selling them, making a proper “thing” (brand) out of it, but have kept putting it off because I keep trying to make it “perfect”, wondering who will buy it and if so, when or why. Anyway, some of this stuff is years old now because I’ve been too baby to show any of it; only now have I realised that I’m just holding myself back from having fun, experimenting and seeing where it goes by just constantly critiquing myself and thinking far too many steps ahead, instead of just being in a state of flow with it all. I’m trying to remind myself it doesn’t matter if I put something out there before it’s finalised, with a website people will actually look at and all that shite. So, here are a couple of things I’ve been working on, which help calm my busy mind when I’m not lugging suitcases around and dressing people for a living 🪡 (albeit a great exercise for growing above-average biceps as someone who is 5’2)

🥦💘 Cryinnnn’! Eternally grateful for the best 3 years (and 2 months) I could have ever asked for, living with 2 of my best mates in the whole world 🌍 Countless hours of conversation, lols and tears were had on that £25 Gumtree corner sofa, whilst we attempted to navigate life, with even more fun experienced in and outside of our lovely flat. They’re probably reading this thinking, “Wtf, you never actually say emotional, sweet things like this in real life”, so a very public and exposing Instagram caption will have to do instead! I’ll miss Brockley, Telegraph Hill (those sunsets are crazy) and all the other beauties that SE London has to show for itself but for now on to something a little different…! LOVE YOU BOTH 🥦💘
