A cast iron scale weight that I bought at Salts Mill in Saltaire, Bradford and photographed at my old studio in Leeds before moving to London.
I wasn’t really sure why I took this photo or why I liked it so much, but since then every time I’ve scrubbed past it while digging through files it’s always made me stop and appreciate it. It’s a reminder of home (in a weird way). At the time I didn’t feel like it was worth sharing, but it has proved me wrong several times over since then.

The @uvu windbreaker, one of the first samples I shot for them a while back and still one of the best projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on.
The whole idea behind this shoot was to set the tone visually for the still life assets that the company would use moving forward, and it felt very fitting to give the images an archival and almost forensic quality that would synthesise nicely with the technical aspects of the garment designs over the coming releases.
Huge thanks to @adi.gillespie , @____________mac____________ , @gillespiealex , @hectortrend & everyone else at UVU for the continued trust over the last few years!
