I’ve witnessed and been a part of many first time KF’s over the years. It always brings me joy and right back to the feeling I got when I landed my first one in 1987. @elvis.aro worked hard on this over a 5 day span. Today was the day I got to be a part of yet another first time KF. Thank you! It never gets old. Don’t quit before the dream happens.

What an epic day at @eastcoastgromtour in Ponce Inlet!@elvis.aro & @luca_naja both did great! Proud of Elvis for his first major paddle in contest and holding 2nd place until the last minute 🔥 and Luca for making it to semis where the waves just didn’t show up for him 🙃

Day 38 of my kids surfing way better than me 😆 Seriously though might be one of the prettiest places we’ve ever surfed. 45 minute drive from raglan through winding green pastures and wild forest #Ruapuke greeted us with fun waves and no one else around! Beautiful headland and stretch of coast with glistening black sand and cool caves to explore
