A snippet from “YoYo Around Town” by @siliakatung Her works are a fusion of various cultures: from Chinese to Greek mythology, to Japanese manga, to Korean media and all the way to Hindu philosophy. She personifies traditional magic, wisdom and religion into contemporary morphologies which foreground a contesting naivete and innocence. The softness of the material she utilises and the blissful colour-palette distract from the underlying opaque narrative to suggest the intricacy of the human condition and natural order via an evolutionary transformation.

In 2023, Elsewhere curated exceptional digital art, featuring @lanadenina__ ’s “I Feel Safe with You” conveyed the comfort of companionship, and @stephanvasement ’s “Illusory World” used Al to scrutinize societal masks and self-perception. @mr_jonathanmccabe ’s mesmerizing “NotOrchid” collection, exploring fluid dynamics and multi-scale Turing patterns. @kim.rose.art ’s “The Place You Feel Most Alive” replicated atmospheric conditions of chosen locations, while @dvsmethid ’s “Fossil Record” animatedly interpreted the past. Looking ahead to 2024, Elsewhere anticipates an even more dynamic art landscape. Embracing a myriad of mediums, including generative art, interactive experiences, and live minting, the gallery continues to defy easy classification. SUMA #69, by @aleksandrajovanic Reflecting on our exhibition “YOU TOPIA”, in collaboration with @verticalcryptoart , Aleksandra Jovanić presented her collection “SUMA”. In her series SUMA, the Suma system is understood as a concept that can be articulated in English as a basic arithmetic problem, representing the total quantity of something in existence. Within the Suma system, two equal parts are delineated and presented side by side. The symbolic surface areas receive precisely identical resource allocations, evident in the numerical values. However, despite the equality in quantity, they manifest distinct characteristics. Structural luminous barriers accentuate points of advantage or disadvantage, and a continuous series of challenging movements actively seeks to rectify the system, aiming for a state of equilibrium #elsewhereart_

This specific art piece contains 4 cylindrical shapes, where the circular openings represent how the ear takes in sound and the wave reflects how music affects emotions.
