My collection “Tessellations” is a ten piece series of hyper-detailed metal plated 3D resin prints. The wall reliefs are coated with copper and the sculptures with bronze.
All ten pieces sold this weekend at @artbasel Miami. It was my first time showing at any art fair and it was an absolute blast talking to so many people about generative and algorithmic art.
Thank you to @heft_gallery for presenting my work in a beautiful environment and to @eli_schein for putting the show together.
HEFT Gallery at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 - Booth Z4 @artbasel@mpkoz
We’re honored to present Michael Kozlowski at this year’s Art Basel Miami Beach. His project, Tessellations, explores the hidden architectures that shape contemporary life - circuitry, data infrastructures, and the geometric systems that silently organize the everyday. Kozlowski reframes these electronic patterns as a form of ornament, echoing medieval mosaics and rule-based craft traditions across global histories.
In Tessellations, circuit-board aesthetics become artifacts of a speculative archaeology, linking ancient design languages with the engineered geometries of the present. Each work originates from custom code capable of producing unique structures at infinite scale, revealing a continuity between historical pattern-making and computational logic.
From December 4 to 6, during Miami Art Week, Zero10 hosts Digital Dialogues, a series of conversations on new modes of creation, collecting, and critical engagement across the digital landscape, in which Kozlowski takes part.
We look forward to welcoming you at Booth Z4.

Michael Kozlowski ( @mpkoz ) — Tessellations at @artbasel
Debuting with HEFT at Art Basel Miami.
Tessellations begins with code — an algorithm that generates a unique pattern and geometry, later 3D printed, metal-plated, and framed in black walnut.
The work draws a line between medieval mosaicry and textiles and the aesthetics of contemporary computing.
We’re excited to present this exceptional new piece in Miami.

“The pieces in Bokeh are all part of this bigger dialogue I have with systems—they aren't just static objects; they're meant to pull you in, get you to move around and see them differently depending on your angle. To me, that's what real interactivity is—creating something that kind of forces you to engage with it, to perform. It's not just about looking at something, it's about participating.”

Michael Kozlowski's (@mpkoz ) Bokeh brings together algorithmic artistry and the highest standards of physical craftsmanship to create sculpture, lighting, and digital works, each a unique meditation on light, form, and the quiet mystery of human perception.

We’re excited to introduce Bokeh by @mpkoz , the newest release from Art Blocks Curated! Michael Kozlowski’s (mpkoz’s) Bokeh is a perfect embodiment of the bridge between algorithmic art and the physical world, showing how generative art can produce objects to live with and love. It demonstrates that traditional methods of art and design are not at odds with technical innovation; in fact, they unite into an exquisite balance.
In Kozlowski’s words, the objects that comprise Bokeh are “all part of a larger conversation about light, form, and perception. They’re not just objects. They invite you to interact with them, to move around them, to see them differently depending on where you’re standing. That’s what I think of as true interactivity: creating something that asks you to perform to see it properly. It encourages some type of dialogue that's not just looking at something; it encourages action.”
A unique aspect of Bokeh is the shared origin of its digital and physical manifestations — both are created from the same algorithm and comprise four form factors: mural-sized sculptures, lighting, digital tokens, and small sculptures. Every physical piece comes with its digital counterpart, which houses the code-generated fabrication instructions. At the time of purchase, each is minted onchain and transmitted to the artist’s shop and equipment, where the components are hand-fabricated and hand-assembled.

TECTONICS is a 90-piece generative collection I released last week. It was a huge milestone for me, my first fully independent release, not reliant on any platform or institution.
The same bit of code produced all these outputs and more. To see the rest and read about the project, visit the link in my bio. #generativeart #realtime #madewithunity
“Joshua Tree” is a generative painting that I made for the @lgnd.art gallery at @complexcon . I use photographs I’ve taken in the park over the years to create the color and movement, while custom machine learning software transforms the images to 3D.
If you’re going to ComplexCon, be sure to check out the show. There’s some incredible artists involved and it’s the first of its kind at the convention. If you’re not going, all of the pieces will be shown and auctioned on LGND’s website. #realtime #madewithunity #impressionism
My @superrare.co genesis is available now. It is called “Olympics” and is an homage to one of my favorite places. It’s also the first NFT I’ve released since becoming a full-time artist! I’m very proud of it. Link in bio. #realtime #impressionism #unity3d
Over the last two months, I have been working with @genesis_usa , @designmilk , and @coolhunting to reinterpret the new 2022 Genesis G70 sedan for their #G70ArtCar campaign. It was an awesome experience, one that introduced me to very talented artists, writers, and producers who love cars as much as I do. Most importantly, the experience gave me the opportunity to drive the car and it was a blast.
This piece, entitled Impetus, is a simultaneously personal and objective tribute to that experience. I encapsulate my thoughts and instincts when first seeing the car, those of surprise and the changing of perspective, while balancing that subjectivity with the recycling of its literal components into a physical art object. As the full vehicle takes form, the focus of the piece then shifts to the experience of driving, the thrill and stimulation I felt behind the wheel. #G70 #GenesisUSA #BornToMove
I’m excited to share “EVOLVE,” a collaboration @thankyoux and I have been talking about for the last six months. It will be available Wednesday, June 9th at 9am PT on @withfoundation and is his first release on the platform.
ThankYouX was one of the first people who talked to me about NFTs last year. Fast forward to May 2021 and I am quitting my 9-5 to work on art full-time, a goal I’ve had for as long as I can remember. Full circle! #evolve #realtime #madewithunity
“Perennial: Summer” is part two of my collection releasing on @lgnd.art this Thursday, May 20th, at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. The show page and interview are online now, link in bio. #impressionism #realtime
