In 2014, an obsessive reread of the Sherlock Holmes canon planted a crazy idea that would become MORIARTY. Twelve years and over 16 hours of story later, that initial spark has grown into something even our great professor could not have predicted.

This might just look like a stack of paper, but it’s actually the final draft of my sci-fi novella INTO THE GREAT, coming later this year from Li’l Factory AB. I don’t know the exact release date yet, but wheh I do, I guarantee I won’t shut up about it.
Well, I haven’t come up with a name for it yet, but I came up with a pretty good nonalcoholic cocktail with the ingredients pictured: @plaidcircus Plaidhattan, a totally original n/a spirit that evokes scotch and whiskey but is its own thing (which I got at @burdenofproofna ); Giffard Aperitif Sirop, which is an outstanding Campari/Aperol substitute; Orange and Angostura bitters; and Bonne Maman cherry preserves. The recipe:
2 oz Plaidhattan
1 oz Giffard Aperitif
1 heaping bar spoon cherry preserves
2 dashes each orange and aromatic bitters
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake hard to chill and combine, then strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
