It’s official, I’m a @cannes_lions Ambassador 🤝🏽 It’s that time of year again! I’ll be honest - I’ve always felt like a bit of an outsider, especially in this industry. From the other side of the velvet rope, Cannes Lions can look like a very expensive group chat that you weren’t invited to. I didn’t know what to expect the first time. I was nervous about the rooms I’d be in and whether I’d have anything to say. But I’ve been back every year since 2022 because I realised something: we aren’t just there to fit into the culture - we are there to add to it. Once you’re in the room, the perspective shifts.
