Normalize spending the better part of a week with your nearest and dearest for a most incredible vacation in a gorgeous locale and oh yeah, you get married. Last March M + J did just that. When Abby & Dave asked us to create something that was textural and interesting to hang over their guests we were like duh sign us up!! These dramatic flower monsters were so fun to bring to life and behind the scenes our gremlin nemesis. Picture all of us carrying these bursts from the van to an elevator that shot you up into the clouds. We then added more amaranth on site and thanks to @shadesofgreyproductions got them safely in the air. (They were heavy enough that it looked like they were bobbing for apples for a moment). Physics is fun! All to say it takes a daring and confident vendor team to pull off the magic and you’d never know from how tranquil the space felt that we were whispering to the poufs to not be little bitches. And that’s why we keep coming back for more. Duh. . . .
