We spent last week in Milwaukee at @landlockedluxury , and we left with full notebooks, full hearts, and the quiet reassurance that this work is exactly where we’re meant to be.
Something powerful happens when you’re in the right room. A room full of people who lift each other up, share openly, and remind you that growth isn’t meant to happen alone. It reminded us how important it is to choose those rooms, and to choose the people who challenge and support you in equal measure.
A few things we’re taking with us:
*You have to root for yourself.
*Know your buyers deeply - their motivations, desires, and what truly moves them.
*Failure isn’t a stop sign, it’s refinement. It sharpens your taste, your process, and ultimately your work.
*Every new level comes with a little incompetence at first. That’s not a flaw - it’s the cost of growth.
*“No” isn’t the end of the conversation. It just means we’ll figure it out another way.
And maybe the biggest reminder of all: there’s no better way to raise the bar than to do it together.
