Letโs talk magnets and e collars. This topic is for operational K9s, handlers, and competition sport training only. If you train for either of those this will make sense for only you. My mentor @jrigk9 talked about this in his last seminar and originally I could not figure out why my e collar was turning off for recall while training. So thank you for helping me figure that out!
E collars are known to turn off or lose connection when in very close contact to magnets.
If you have an awesome belt like the ones from @subsecond_ just switch the side your magnet is on opposite of your primary heeling side ๐๐ซ๐
