Our WEEKEND CAKE DONUT is Blueberry Sour Cream spiked with the last of our meyer lemons! Velvety crumb, blueberries throughout. CARROT CAKE BY THE SLICE is layered with ginger and sultana jam, cream cheese frosting, and carrot caramel (inspired by my own mom’s enduring love for sultanas by the handful). Available from 11am. Lastly, we’ve got RAMP BUTTER BIALYS with pickled Hungarian peppers and garlic confit that happen to be vegan/dairy free???!! Weekend color palate: purple / orange / green.
Leave it to pastry chef @zoekanan to create one of Jubilee’s most beautiful baked goods! The @elbowludlow co-owner crafted a Chocolate Chip Banana Pudding Kolache with @ghirardelli chocolate and rich brown butter brioche. Each one was filled with vanilla pudding, banana jam, and fresh sliced bananas, then finished with a sprinkle of chocolate graham cracker crumbs. Unsurprisingly, they disappeared quickly at the Ghirardelli café during our conference!
Zoë also joined the “Fresh Out of the Oven: New York’s Most-Wanted Treats & The Bakers Behind Them” breakout session panel, sharing her journey and what it’s really like running a bustling bakery in the city.

SUNS OUT BUNS OUT! Our friend @anna.atthetable of @quince.bakery in London is gracing NYC with her presence this week! We’ve melded minds to bring you a springtime version of her favorite Hot Cross Buns - mixed entirely with a beautiful blend of NY grown wheat, split and adorned with house-made clotted cream (miracle substance), candied kumquats, and *bonus* poached rhubarb! Big shout to @maejchuchu for her work on this one <3

Speaking of friends… ours over @sandplunch are now open for DINNER Thurs-Sun and serving up delicious new additions to the menu like latke mozzarella sticks (correct), stuffed cabbage, spinach pie, pastrami stroganoff, housemade dilly chips, cocktails, and a lot more.
