Check out the moment when His Majesty The King was introduced to the decks by King’s Trust alumni @idriselba to round off a special Garden Party at Buckingham Palace celebrating 50 years of The Trust working for young people. His Majesty was joined by a host of other alumni of The Trust, including Christan, who completed a @creativefuturesofficial course and has continued to DJ! Christian brought all the vibes and beats to close out an amazing day. Thank you to everyone who makes #CreativeFutures a possibility - a chance for young people to step into the creative industries. This opportunity is made possible through the partnership between The King’s Trust and the @elbahopefoundation . #kingstrust50

We welcome the Government’s Halving Knife Crime Action Plan and the continued focus on addressing serious youth violence through a more coordinated, public health–led approach. For us, this work has always been about creating the conditions for young people to thrive - through opportunity, access, and community-led solutions. We remain committed to working alongside partners to support efforts that create safer environments and stronger futures for young people and their communities. #ElbaHopeFoundation #YouthOpportunity #CommunitySafety #PublicHealth

65 years. This is my father’s country. My bloodline. The place that gave my family its name. I think about Salone every day, but today, the whole world gets to. 65 years of a country that has been through everything and still chooses joy. Still chooses each other. That spirit is why @sabrinaelba and I keep coming back. It’s why we built @elbahopefoundation to walk alongside the communities already doing the work. Education. Infrastructure. Opportunity. Not from the outside in. From the inside, out. The best chapters? We’re writing them right now. Happy Independence Day, Salone. This one’s for you. 🇸🇱

Smallholder farmers are at the heart of our planet’s future. 🌍 Across Sierra Leone, they are growing more than crops, they are sustaining communities, protecting the land, and strengthening food systems for generations to come. Through initiatives like Project TRUST, Rice for Life and Hope Power Project, we’re working alongside farming communities to expand access to resources, build resilience, and support long-term livelihoods. Because when farmers thrive, communities eat, and the planet benefits. This Earth Day, we’re reminded that real change starts locally. And it starts with people. Share their stories. Support the future. 🔗 Learn more via link in bio #EarthDay #OurPowerOurPlanet #SmallholderFarmers #FoodSecurity #ClimateAction

💧 Where water flows, equality grows. Today, on #WorldWaterDay, we are honored to stand alongside our partners @givepowerfoundation , @servicenow and @octopusenergy , in the belief that access to clean water is not a privilege, it’s a human right. The global water crisis affects everyone. But not equally. Women and girls bear the heaviest burden, collecting water, managing water, and caring for those made sick by unsafe water. Their time, health, and futures are on the line. That’s why we’re investing in more than infrastructure. We’re investing in people. In partnership with ServiceNow and Octopus Energy, the Hope Power project is a blueprint for climate-resilient rural economies. Powering schools, clean water access, and community resilience. A huge moment for our young people in Manchester ✨ HM the King joined us at Aviva Studios to meet the amazing young people who have taken part in our Creative Futures programme, delivered by @factory_international , and the energy was unreal 🔥 From music and poetry to lighting rigs and technical kit, young people transformed the studio foyer into three interactive creative stations. HM the King got stuck in meeting the young people, hearing their stories first‑hand and even trying his hands on the DJ decks 🎧 Creative Futures, launched in partnership with @kingstrust & @elbahopefoundation , has already helped 100+ young people in Manchester build confidence, skills, and real pathways into the creative industries. We have now expanded beyond Manchester into more of the UK, with courses also taking place in Leeds, Leicester, Portsmouth, Newcastle and more - thanks to funding by @dcmsgovuk . We’re so proud of every young person who completed a Creative Futures programme. 👉 Want to be part of it? Check the link in our bio. 📸 Bankole Oluwafemi #KingsTrust50 #CreativeFutures
