After half a year and nearly a thousand brewed coffee of my Aeropress Kung Fu, A Golden plunger was mine on 2nd of December. @aeropress is easy, fast and less of movement compare to other brewing equipments and to practice brewing coffee somehow you really needs more of mathematic and creativity to against your own comfort wall. So this is the point, Aeropress is more than comfortable. It’s fast&easy, one practice session can brew around 15-25 cups or until you give up on yourself with several technics which design from your own brewed footprint data. never settle, keep adjustment, you can brew better than the previous one, there’s must be someone who’s better than you and you are goin to defeat. I’m living with this voice in my head for about half a year now and it seem to be no ending of this voice. but, I’m more than grateful for this GOLDEN Aeropress. the golden credit goes to @flowerdancefloor @candypsychocandy @chawistar who’s called for tasting my brewed especially Fah, we’ve been through a lot of emotion discussed from some different perspective of tasting but its turned very GOLD❤️ and also the rest of team @braveroasters for taking care our shit while we in Melb. friends friends friends @pttrp.c @joe_and_the_bean @blurbeww @mutmeee @auan_lalida @iamgabrielcarol for fulfill our practice session seats and tasting like no ending. Team @thecoffeecalling , @_pingpichaya the boss who took care my flight and kept asked my condition and the rest of the team @picolofolkvento @auan_lalida @jakkapat @itsjushtwoh and many others in CC team, hope next year goin to be more fun. @aero.press 15 years of pushing this community and this year meant a lot to me. Credit to my equipments @1zpresso who gave birth to KMAX / ZP6 @bluekoff_th RES grinder @aesirfilters extraordinary paper, your paper is GOLD❤️ @perfectcoffeewater snort your white powder for several months of practice session and now it’s GOLD powder @brewista.co smooth and gently flow @timemorethailand @timemoreproducts precise and affordable scale @cafec_japan your discontinued coffee carafe is perfectly match with Aeropress and the MVP, my One Side Chop Stick from kitchen.

Are you ready to meet the '23 Thailand AeroPress Champion and get your mitts on the winning recipe? 🇹🇭👇⁠ ⁠ Champion: Ekameth Wipvasutt (@Ekameth )⁠ Host: @thecoffeecalling ⁠ ⁠ Position: Inverted⁠ Dose: 18g⁠ Grind: 1Zpresso K-Max, Set Zero then 92 clicks in coarser way.⁠ Filter: 1 Paper, Rinsed⁠ Water: 87°C⁠ ⁠ ⁠ 1. Gently Pour water to 110 g. in 15 seconds.⁠ ⁠ 2. 0.30 ,gently Stir 5 seconds.⁠ ⁠ 3. 0.55 ,gently Stir 5 seconds and press down the Plunger to lift up coffee surface to the rim.⁠ ⁠ 4. Around 1.10 , close the cap.⁠ ⁠ 5. 1.30 , Fast press to the half of plunger in 5 seconds (1.35) wait 10seconds then Slow press for about 20-25 seconds.⁠ ⁠ 6. Coffee yield will be around 87-90g.⁠ ⁠ 7. Dilute water to about 153-155g. (depends on the result). ⁠ ⁠ Ekameth is gearing up to travel to Melbourne to represent Thailand on the World Stage. Tay started as a university student working part-time in a café — not because of coffee at first, but because of people. Years later, after opening a small shop, stepping away from competition for nearly a decade, and quietly continuing his work, he came back and became World Aeropress Champion 2023. A little twist Aeropress recipe with @aeropress High Perfomance Grinder, a really cool portablea with mix of mechanic and magnetic part. Double extraction, i dont like when water pass through ground coffee at the first 5-10 secs especially when you pour all at once so, i return the weak bypass extracted coffee back to the plunger again and have a good romance stir with a chopstick and press slow and gentle, then dilute with room temp and finish with hot temp for make a perfection taste experience. In the cup has linger sweet, nice mouthfeel and structure. Such a good pairing with this Titanium burr grinder. water : whatever ppm ( i prefer slightly higher like 66 or more ) temp : whatever c or f ( just play around by urself ) paper : @braveroasters golden circle paper coffee : @braveroasters peru la confianza caturra natural grinder : aeropress 4x clicks ground coffee : 19g ratio : 1:7 - Pour 7 parts of water, all at once. - return the coffee to the plunger at around 30 secs then stir. - mix with room temp and hot temp at your desire. Introduce to Ana and José from @panamawoodlandscoffee many improvement detail here. for example, keep the coffee in vacuum bags in cold storage, intentionally selected color phase of coffee cherry through coffee processing. and a lot blah blahh blahhh things, i couldn’t tell all of that cus havn’t got enough time to ask but only the obvious improvement of cup quality said itself. muy bueno, aroi mak.

Introduce Ruben @bocharel of @fincapanda , the finca with no actual panda but only casitas and coffee. This is my first time in Volcancito, the finca is surrounded with some old Caturra, Geisha, some Obata with the sky full of stars at night. got 1 nice lot of Panda Geisha Natural and Old Panda Caturra Natural. 🐼
