I’m inspired by the surreal work of midcentury designers like Kiyoshi Awazu and Tadanori Yokoo - super colorful, layered, and blending collage/screenprint/hand-drawn elements. That kind of eclectic visual style felt like a match for both the band and the energy of the city”
