Competing in the 2026 East End Surf Challenge was truly an honor, especially with this being the first time the event has been held in 11 years. This isn’t a regular race. It demands skill, reliability, and fitness. 🇰🇾🏁💥EAST END SURF CHALLENGE💥🏁🇰🇾 Wow, what an amazing way to spend National Heroes Day! Firstly, this is such a Caymanian event and I LOVE that! 💙 The purpose, concept, food, music and vibes. 10/10 Secondly, there were so many people! We were stationed at the main race point beside @easternstarbar but the entire beach was FULL! It was amazing to see so many families with their children having a great time. 🥹🫶🏾 It’s such a good day for all ages. Thirdly, it’s such an underrated showcase of our local talent. 🇰🇾 It’s incredible to see the racers go head to head after putting so much care into their crafts. 🔥 You can feel their passion for the sport and it’s so refreshing. 🏁 Fourth, the food - Free fish tea samples? 🐠 YES PLEASE! + local favorites (we got the conch fritters, fried mahi and fried barracuda from @easternstarbar ) Congratulations to all participants but here are the winners: 👇🏾 🏆 Pro Class - Cline Glidden III (@clineag ) 🏆 Amateur Class - Brandon Elliot 🏆 Naturally Aspirated - Michael Chambers 🏆 Nayaman Award - CJ Wisdom Overall, it’s an amazing day out and local event!
