Macchi M.17
Italian flying boat racer from my Pavilion of the Seaplane Association. Freely interpreted, difficult to photograph. I recommend sliding into the other images to see the profile better, unobsucer by the huge wing structure. It is quite slender, actually.

Väinämöinen / alt
Kalevala is much about singing - it's constructed from fragments of orally transmitted heritage. Rhythm is essential for remembering the countless verses.
Väinämöinen has his kantele, a string instrument made of the jawbone of the great scale-pike. Väinämöinen wielded this legendary artefact for a brief moment only, during the Theft of Sampo climax, but the sound surely enchanted everyone from birds to gods. I'm quite happy with my design, which utilises the 1x2 clip plates I rarely use.
Pavilion of the Seaplane Association - details
I'll post the planes (Curtiss R3C-0 and Macchi M.17) separately later on. They're currently in the library exhibit and I haven't photographed them yet.
VER SACRUM exhibit in Messukylä Library, Tampere
Eli jälleen näyttely Messukylän kirjastossa! Auki vielä reilu pari viikkoa.
Ver Sacrum was the catchphrase of Viennese Secession, meaning "The Sacred Spring". My exhibit has nothing to do with Secession, but the spring is always the same... Works on this exhibit strive to capture beauty in it various forms.

The Pavilion of the Seaplane Association - Interior
This is more heavily inspired by Porco Rosso than the exterior. I wanted to capture the crowded atmosphere of the club. I don't built much minifig-scale stuff these days/years, and most of my minifig parts are +10 years old. Fortunately, I gathered quite a bit of them back then.

The Pavilion of the Seaplane Association
Built last year for @palikkatakomo 's Archipelago History collab. Inspired by Lars Sonck's Helsinki Telephone Association Building (1905)... and Porco Rosso.

King of the Mine
Or, to be more exact, "chief mining engineer", as every dwarf mine is led by a king. Inspired by those retro half-timber panels I recently acquired.

Matoro / alt
Kolhii Matorans have pretty weird proportions with their long arms and squatting legs. I tried to channel the vibes with this... I was bound to end up somewhat humoristic results.
