Acclaimed Australian film director Baz Luhrmann says he feels like he “hasn’t done anything yet” and is just getting started despite a CV littered with large screen success. The man behind Romeo & Juliet, The Great Gatsby, Australia and the Elvis biopic - which he directed and post-produced on the Gold Coast - said he still felt like he had so much more to come in his already storied career. On the red carpet, ahead of speaking at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards on Thursday night at Langham Gold Coast, he said: “I always just think, not so much I keep going, I always think I haven’t got started. Haven’t really done anything yet. I feel like I’m just getting going.”
