I’m sorry it’s taken me a while to share, but we’ve been inundated with so many positive calls, messages and emails, alongside all your lovely tags from our appearance on @gmb with Susanna and Ed this morning. They were fantastic, as always and their support is amazing for our campaigns.
We’ve already been contacted by 2 new police’s forces, who would like to talk with us about defibrillators for their fleet of vehicles and this is such a great outcome, to happen so quickly after our TV interview.
The hard work really must keep going..our British Empire Medal is truly special to all of Jamie’s team and I was honoured to receive it, but our campaigns for accessible defibrillators, Police vehicle defibrillators and Jamie’s Law are always our absolute priority and we have to keep going and fight harder than ever, for Jamie! No family should ever have to go through this complete devastation, because of the lack of a defibrillator. As always, we are so grateful for your support and kindness.
Jamie should just be here..Our hero and inspiration in every second of everyday 💙🩵💙

So cool to meet one of my heroes on @gmb today - the inspirational and brilliantly funny Traitors star Jessie Stride who was on to talk about the @stammauk ‘Don’t Hang Up, Hold On’ campaign to get Call Centres to give people with a stammer the time to say their name (and also to cut with me m about why we both hate sentences which start with an ‘H’ !!)
After becoming a fan favourite on The Traitors earlier this year, Jessie Stride is continuing to campaign for more awareness of those living with stammers.
She is supporting a campaign called ‘Don’t Hang Up, Hang On’, which aims to get companies to put systems in place to allow customers to say that they have a speech difference at the start of phone calls, to ease the challenge of making calls those with stammers currently face, as research shows that 97% of those with stammers find them hard to do. Welcome your new GMB hosts!!!!🎤 just kidding, not got that gig just yet🤪
I had the best time on Good Morning Britain chatting all things stammering and the brilliant work being done through @stammauk and their “Don’t Hang Up, Hang On” campaign.
These conversations really matter. Stammering is still so widely misunderstood, and creating space on platforms like this helps break down those barriers and move us towards a more inclusive understanding of communication.
Grateful to have been part of it with Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, and even more grateful that we’re keeping this conversation going beyond the studio 💛

Hope you’ve had a good Sunday ! Roast beef was a little rare for my liking but the Yorkshire puddings were good and, most importantly, the gravy came out just right. See you in the morning with @susannareid100 and @kategarraway on @gmb at 6am - we’ve got a great show coming up 🙂
“I’m not sure it immediately puts independence on the agenda.”
We’ll soon know the results in Holyrood and the Senedd, but it’s expected every devolved government will be led by nationalist parties for the first time.
Ed and George assess what this means for the likelihood of independence referendums in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland in the short-term.

I’ve been watching the snooker for over fifty years - when I was young it was the best regular live sport on the telly. But today was my first time in person at the World Championship in Sheffield. And it was such a tense, nail-biting afternoon session with Shaun Murphy and Wu Yize both such worthy finalists. It’s such great news that The Crucible has secured the tournament until 2045 - I can’t wait to tell Kate all about it tomorrow on @GMB 😀 @worldsnookertour@sheffieldtheatres

On Sunday, Jordan Adams took on the London Marathon with a 25 kilogram fridge on his back, running alongside his brother Cian.
Now - with no time to rest - he's taking on 32 more marathons, one in every county in Ireland to raise awareness for a type of early-onset dementia that took their mum Geraldine's life. They too have now been diagnosed with the gene that causes it.
