wow. Always such a freaking blast with the eclectic crew. Thank you all so much for helping create some of the most dreamy awesome friendly wild events I have ever been to. We want to continue to bust out different shows in different places this year. Let's see what we can do!!! So psyched to be able to share music and bring people together to celebrate. It feels to often in this age that we are on screens and get locked into cycles that don't bring out what humans really need. What we need is to dance and get together to share what we love outside in nature. There are so many ways to do this, from small gatherings to large festivals. Everything has it's place!!! Learning and accepting what has come before and is held within us, it is so important to move beyond blockages and mental hang-ups that regularly return in life. These songs I pushed through the process of writing. They are raw often made in very few live takes while learning the operation of the electronic systems and processing. Music is a sensory relationship with emotion. I have for my whole life used music to release built up emotions. To let out all the internal struggle. To recreate our world with expression. This sensory therapy of the arts allows us to move though the world without being overwhelmed. Every human needs this release!!! I intentionally created these tracks quickly as a form of release, a form of acceptance of the process and a way to take with me what I decided to while leaving emotions to vibrate through the air. This track exhibits a dissonance and striving expressing the feelings inside of trying to release myself from the past without throwing away the key to the future. This album was a build up of years of needing to write lyrics and connect with the internal world within. This journey forced me to feel and understand what was keeping me from fulfilling the expression I needed. The project was birthed within the necessity for us all to hold up a mirror to ourselves, to look in the reflections of the water and see the influences, the histories and the relationships that create our self.
