Weeks posts
Just to clarify... My move to San Francisco is not happening immediately. I'm shooting for late July but I still have to figure out a bunch of different logistics. That being said, I have to thank my community for all of the support and kind words of encouragement I received on the earlier post I made. It must have been from all of the engagement, but it somehow managed to get 160,000 views and hundreds upon hundreds of likes, which is by far my most "viral" post to date. I also didn't intend to insinuate that Humboldt has been terrible for me, truthfully it's been quite the opposite. Since this journey began 4 years ago I've been booked solid nearly every weekend, allowing me to grow and hone my skills, gain an incredible amount of experience and prepare myself for the next chapter. I want to do bigger shows, work more than one night a week and I have the desire to see more of the world. Vv by rr But I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't have so many amazing neighbors who believe in me and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. My art would be worthless if nobody saw it, and I'm beyond humbled for having the opportunity to create so many memories with all of you! Be sure to say hello or goodbye if you see me out at a show in the next couple of months. I'm going to miss ya Humboldt County!

It's incredible how much technology, knowledge and artistry goes into a "DJ" style event. It truly takes a small army of very talented, passionate and dedicated people to ensure that everything runs smoothly and creates the lifelong memories for all of the fans. Last Saturday I had the privilege of shadowing the FOH team from @anticstudios for @levity.music @billgrahamcivic . This was my perspective for the night. Huge thanks to @corbin.sharpe , @mi_myself_ni , @tyler.kuni , @therealwarf , and the rest of this world class crew for allowing me to share your space.

It's with a heavy heart to announce that I have decided to make the move to SF and get some change in my life. It's been very difficult in Humboldt to earn a reasonable amount of money for providing the services that I offer, not to mention the lack of events in general. Not only is it what I need to do to improve my career, it's also to improve my mental health. I've found myself lately very unmotivated to do much and can get lost in my bus and do nothing but doomscroll. This weekend when I was down in the city I felt so alive and motivated to get out there and network and make moves to get where I want to be in the music industry. I am however so very grateful to everyone has supported me and shown me love and All the people who gave me the opportunity to share my art. So many people have been absolutely indispensable to my growth and I'll never forget you! I'm not certain exactly what my timeline is going to be or what the transition will look like, but I'm definitely getting the ball rolling ASAP! I'll still come up here from time to time, but for now it's on to bigger things. Much love Humboldt. Wish me luck -;

Nothing could have prepared me for the message I got today! Truly honored to be offered a spot on the guest list for one of the most incredible laser shows and arguably some of the sickest EDM groups in the country! I generally don't like to attend events I'm not working at... But after having to watch their performance at Northern Nights last year from my stage while programming my own laser show, I'll absolutely make an exception for this! I have so many people who helped me get to where I am today I can't possibly name them all, but a few are @sudsmusic and the @whompproductions crew for helping me get my first gig 4 years ago, @pangolinlasersystems , @thewiseguyofficial and @brookspalmer44 @laserlightcompany , @lasershane , @levity.music , and the man himself, the very generous @corbin.sharpe for the invite to SF next week. Thank you all so much! #artistjourney #laserlightshow #miracles #laseroperator

Alright folks, my first "giveaway" is going to be a challenge of sorts! It's very difficult if not impossible to get good footage of my work on my own and I'm offering 2 (two) VIP tickets to my next event to whoever can send me the coolest video showing my lasers, bonus points if you have footage with me working the console. By submitting your entry you grant me the permission to re-post and share without compensation, however I will of course give you name credits. Winner will be chosen by a vote. Deadline will be May 20th. Good luck and thank you for the support!

Great show tonight with @arcane_artistes with @jamescarter , @spenny.wav and @dj.zera providing support. Shout-out to the awesome folks over in Florida @unitylasers who build the best lasers in the business and @pangolinlasersystems with the best software and customer service out there. World class all around.

I have to admit, when I first heard about the drama surrounding Humboldt Bay Social Club, it sounded like typical behind-the-scenes mess. But after experiencing it in person, I see it very differently. This isn’t just another venue. Nicole has poured her heart, soul, and a tremendous amount of money into transforming this place. She’s handled major infrastructure upgrades, a full electrical retrofit, sky-high insurance premiums, rising utility costs, and a payroll for roughly 10 dedicated people who love this spot and depend on it to support their families. Beyond the financial investment, she’s created something truly special: a warm, welcoming gem that Humboldt County should be proud to have. With beautiful decor, comfortable spaces, room for all kinds of performances, and areas where artists can create while listening to the ocean and watching some of the county’s most stunning sunsets, it’s a rare find. For a reasonable price, you can gather with friends and family, cook your own hot dogs, burgers, or oyster kits over a communal fire pit, and actually connect. People talk ideas, share stories, debate politics, and leave feeling a little more human. It’s the kind of place that builds community. Nicole has turned this property into an incredible venue with real potential to become a lasting part of Humboldt’s cultural fabric. I’m urging everyone to come see it for yourself before it’s too late. At the end of the day, what matters more? $60,000 in rent, or keeping ten local families employed, preserving a beautiful, well-maintained property in an unbeatable location, and protecting a space that brings people together with almost zero negative impact on neighbors or wildlife? This place offers so much: cozy overnight rooms with quality linens, a steam sauna, a massage studio, a commercial kitchen, a funky trailer-turned-dinette, outdoor campfire experiences, ample parking, and a location perfectly between Eureka and Arcata. It’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and genuinely inclusive. If you value real community spaces, local jobs, and authentic experiences, please come support Humboldt Bay Social Club.
