“Sand Castles” 24x30 Acrylic on Canvas • Started this painting back in 2022. Based off a photograph of a friend’s little boy. The photo spoke to me, made me feel like I was looking into a moment in time where perhaps anything was possible in this boys mind. • Over the years working on the painting, it slowly started to strike a chord and feel more personal. My mind flooded with all sorts of memories. I felt like a kid again, on the beach.. exploring the colors in the tide pools… and there was this sense that I (can) play too. I am playing! Navigating, exploring and creating in a world where anything (is) possible. • Special thank you to J and your boy. “Remember” 24x30 acrylic on canvas • Remember? The strengths you have can be greater than your fears. Remember how we used to ___ ? Laugh, and smile? Say hello to strangers? Remember?! • We live in a world now where “forget” is almost engrained in us. There is too much going on, all the time. Forget it. Leave it until later. I don’t know if I can.. the storage in our brains can only hold so much information, our minds and bodies can only deal with so many feelings… we are almost forced to forget, to push things away. Down into the depths ~ • Remember! Remember your super powers. Try and simplify things. Do one thing at a time. Do it the best you can. Remember all the things that make you, YOU! Try not to forget that you can. You are enough. Remember your strength, and that nothing lasts forever. Believe in your self. Tipper & Friends - The Final Chapter • Thank you! Wow. Totally blown away by all the support and kind words exchanged.
