Hosting two parties coming up!AQUASONIC is a party focusing on downtempo & chill out music.@matteblacksoul is a multi talented classically trained dancer and all around wonderful person! Through our conversations AQUASONIC came to fruition! ️NYC staple and old school head, you’ll usually catch @rage.inald playing out his favorite DNB selections. If you’ve seen his sets over the years you’ll know that he’s not just bound to one genre but has a deep knowledge of music as a whole. Come see him spin downtempo @earthlydelights.nyc and the week following @bossanovacivicclub spinning progressive house and an eclectic mix of other selections.The following week on 1/23 I’ll be hosting a party @bossanovacivicclub Joining me will be @harukanyc999 and @rage.inaldMoving to NYC from Japan in 2006, Haruka has become one of Brooklyn’s most versatile, seasoned, and in-demand DJs. She has continuously been on the cutting edge, in recent years making regular appearances at the likes of Bossa Nova, Elsewhere and Mood Ring in New York city. Not only is she an amazing DJ with huge range but an excellent producer as well!

My @nowadaysnyc backyard set is now up on SoundCloud!This was a special one! I got a chance to play some of my favorite downtempo & chill out music I’ve been collecting over the years before I even knew anything about dance music. It was even more special since I played a day before my birthday. Many of these tracks hold a special place in my heart as it’s mostly what I listen to when I’m not at the club. The first hour is what I consider favorites & essentials with some deep jazz cuts thrown in there.Thank you to the @nowadaysnyc team for having me play!Special thanks to William Orbit, The Orb, Jah Wobble, Nobukazu Takemura, Talvin Singh & Nitin Sawhney amongst others for making this beautiful music that I find myself listening to over and over again throughout life…

VERY excited to be playing the chill out room @mizzsoftee this Friday. I always think to myself “Why don’t more clubs and parties bring this vibe back?” Some of the most interesting sounds come from non-dance music and being able to curate that within a club space is a very special experience. Before becoming interested in dance music, I collected multitudes of different music that I simply found to be beautiful and interesting. Some of those inspirations coming from the early days of the chill out room and the history behind that. I always try to find refreshing sounds while aiming to tell a story through mixing all of those together or simply just showcasing my favorite types of music that make me feel a certain type of way. ️ Playing from 12-2!

Hosting this party @bossanovacivicclub @sprklbb is a vinyl-only DJ based in Brooklyn. He currently hosts Bottle Service at Brooklyn's Black Flamingo, Club Moment on NYCs The Lot Radio, and an experimental monthly "MICROWAVE 4 ONE" on London's Soho Radio. He was the founding resident and programmer for the Ostbahnhof parties in New York and Los Angeles, and has held numerous residencies in Brooklyn at spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, High+Tight NYC, and The Gateway. A mentee of NYC house duo The Carry Nation, SPRKLBB collaborates with a network of seasoned nightlife veterans to produce events that are campy yet serious, showcasing top names in underground dance music as well as fresh faces in queer nightlife. Currently producing flyers and visuals in collaboration with artist Xander Gaines.@rose.kourts is a Brooklyn-based DJ, specializing in curveball bangers, acid crunchers, smooth groovers, uplifting jams, and resonant music across multiple genres. She mixes from the heart with love and respect for the underground.Poster by @101rcky
