When Melloney asked me to mend and tailor this ethereal two-piece dress, I was beyond excited. She explained that it was actually from the 1800s! When she brought it to my studio, I was struck by how beautiful and delicate it was, and I quickly realised I would have to handle it with the utmost care. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work on this little piece of history, breathing new life into a fragment of the past, so it may live on in another lifetime 🕰️🥀
