Scent Story: Serenity Blend by

Despite drinking coffee every day, I still consider myself a tea person. Tea is an essential part of my life, and the ritual surrounding it has always carried something deeply philosophical for me.
Recently, I attended a perfume event hosted by the
@metropolitenbg team — an oasis of calm within a chaotic city. Everything revolved around the concept of a tea ceremony by
@t.element.belgrade . Guests were welcomed with a drink matching the color of the fragrance, followed by a calligraphy workshop and a tea cocktail built around mate.
Serenity Blend truly surprised me. First of all, there is a perfect harmony between the character of the fragrance and the color of the liquid itself. It’s an intelligent, elegant scent — soft-spoken, yet very present. A remarkably realistic green tea accord unfolds through shimmering floral nuances reminiscent of lilac, wisteria, and violet.
The fragrance is built around a tea-inspired theme, but not in the usual transparent “tea cologne” manner. Here, the green tea feels cold, citrusy, refreshing, and light — yet simultaneously dense and full-bodied. It reminds me of over-steeped sencha: brewed for far too long, poured into cups as a strong bitter infusion, then softened with cold water.
Serenity Blend opens with bergamot, lemon, and tea, followed by a floral-aromatic heart of jasmine, litsea cubeba, clary sage, rhubarb, chamomile, magnolia, gardenia, and violet. The base combines ginger, cardamom, black tea, mate, cashmeran, sandalwood, coumarin, tonka bean, vanilla, and musk, creating a warm, softly sweet, textured finish.
It is a fragrance where canonical floral-green freshness collides with deep woody tannins, while the masterful interplay of ingredients creates contrasting temperatures within a single composition.
