New music out today! Welcoming back Mirror Organs with "the leaves closest to the light fall last" — digital only, available now via Bandcamp and all usual channels. Link in bio. • Resurfacing at Eastern Nurseries following 2023’s "Sunless", London-based producer Mirror Organs returns with "the leaves closest to the light fall last". Adopting a measured focus across the EP’s five tracks, Pooley trades blown-out breaks for crystalline percussion and brevity, finding a home between the intricate clockwork of ’90s IDM and the smudged edges of witch house. Tinged with an air of nocturnal inkiness, the melodies appear as spectral silhouettes—vaporous textures that coagulate into something acutely anemoic. As if tracing the passage of time in slow dissolve, "the leaves closest to the light fall last" is an assured development of Mirror Organs’ craft. The night holds its shape. Something settles. Eastern Nurseries no. 46 • Written, produced & mixed by Bene Pooley in London, UK 2025-2026 Mastered by Matt Soczywko @mattsoczywko Artwork by Conna Haraway @connaharaway

First release of 2026! Canadian Rifles and tari present their debut EP "Mistral" — digital only, available now via Bandcamp and usual channels. Link in bio. • Marking their debut collaboration, Canadian Rifles and Helsinki-based tari arrive at "Mistral" — a three-track EP of immersive, crystalline drift. Steeped in granular textures and subtle glacial pads, the two voices find immediate common ground in restraint, each piece unfolding with the unhurried patience of light changing over a still surface. Delicate melodic drones bloom and disperse across the EP’s arc, offering a gesture of narrative as they trace forward, their harmonic warmth held in careful suspension. A fondness for dynamic crescendo persists throughout, each surge breathing outward before receding again — a tender first meeting. Final output of 2025! Proud to bring you a reimagined edition of FARWARMTH’s debut release, celebrating ten years since its conception. "Warm Winter, 2015" is now available as a limited edition cassette + digital. Link in bio! • Celebrating a decade of existence, FARWARMTH returns to his first recorded material in cathartic remembrance, reinterpreting his original collection of compositions to honour the project’s conception and milestone moment. Deleted, as so many first steps into creative pursuits are, these foundational works have been revisited a decade later with renewed perspective, and once again made available in their original guise as "Warm Winter, 2015". Stemming from the mid-2010s wave of tape music, the pleasing fuzz and hum of the medium engulfs the nine pieces that make up the album – familiar in their characteristic saturation and warm compression – in an ode to the context in which the music first arose. Laying the groundwork for his later albums on Planet Mu and ACR, these lost pieces display FARWARMTH’s trademark sonic palette in its formative incarnation, albeit transformed by ten years spent honing his compositional ear. Filled with dynamic tension, each piece offers an assemblage of granular synthesis, electro-acoustic drones, and melancholic harmonic stutters, culminating in an emotive body of work that seems to mourn the past while continuing to look forward. "On that day, and after all this time, what were you trying to say?" Eastern Nurseries no. 44 • Written & recorded by Afonso Arrepia Ferreira Mastered by Pedro Menezes (@swan.palace ) Artwork by Afonso Arrepia Ferreira Special thanks to Pedro Menezes, Bernardo Ferreira, Noémia Gavina & Amândio Ferreira.

We’ve made the decision to remove our entire catalogue from Spotify. This will take effect over the next couple of weeks, as timelines vary depending on the processes of our distribution partners. Spotify’s ongoing disregard for the artists who make the platform what it is — from unsustainable payouts to the broader devaluation of creative work — has made this decision long overdue. On top of that, the actions and investments of Spotify’s CEO in companies advancing military technology and surveillance stand in direct conflict with the values we believe in. This may only be a small drop in the ocean, but it’s a step we feel is necessary. We want to help shape a future that nurtures ethical technology, artistic integrity, and fairer ecosystems for both artists and listeners. You can continue to support us through more equitable platforms and independent record stores. Thank you <3

New music out today! Presenting the solo debut of Porto-based virtuoso António Feiteira. "Performing the Heimlich on an Ouroboros" is now available as a limited edition cassette + digital. Link in bio! • António Feiteira’s debut solo project, "Performing the Heimlich on an Ouroboros", sees the Porto-based percussionist and composer channel intoxicating ritualistic impressions across the EP’s triptych of compositions. Delicately rendered into a myriad of details, Feiteira recontextualises granulated glitches, pops and crackles on “Ghost Hiss, Resonant Hip” as if we are seated beside a digital bonfire, embers floating skyward in a spiral of rising heat. Electronics jitter in their harmonies with a nervousness—evocative yet restrained. The EP’s second movement, “Synthesized Chronos Turned Organless Aion,” retains the textural tactility of the previous track, propelled by a drum pattern that ebbs and flows, weaving between ringing resonances and electronics buried beneath plumes of vaporous chimes. Conscious linearity yelding to a sense of harmonic cyclicality before succumbing to an endless, but welcome, sleep. Final piece “Killswitch Counterpoint” sees Feiteira place guitar front and centre, pensively glitched out and forlorn. The hyperactive flicker of the ASMR-like pops, contrasting against lush downcast melodies—softer in their contortions but contorted nonetheless—gives way to a trance-inducing repetition, as smoke begins to clear and nothing is left but the ashes. Eastern Nurseries no. 43 • Composed & produced by António Feiteira Mixed & co-produced by Francisco Antão (@spitbender ) Mastered by Lendl Barcelos Artwork by Isabel Pereira (@isabel.pereirap ) Drums & tubular bells in "Ghost Hiss, Resonant Hip" performed as a duo with Vicente Mateus (@_vicentemateus_ ) Special thanks to Rita, Francisco and Lendl.

New music out today! Presenting a brand-new EP by Ferrara-born producer POL100. "Voice From The Little House" is available as a limited edition cassette + digital via Bandcamp, and streaming on all digital platforms as of now. Link in bio! • Welcoming POL100 to Eastern Nurseries, the Italian producer Paolo Maiarelli unveils "Voice From The Little House", a six-track suite of evocative soundscapes that expand on his distinct sense of storytelling. Told in murmurs, textures, and spectral drift, "Voice From The Little House" conjures a liminal world shaped by dreams, folklore, and the half-seen. POL100’s sonic world feels unearthed rather than composed — layered, brittle, and blurred at the edges, like artifacts from a place where memory and imagination entwine. At once intimate and otherworldly, these pieces hover in a space between presence and disappearance. It's music that seems to breathe through the walls of a house buried in moss and time, its silence thick with memory. The house speaks. Presenting a new full-length release by London-based producer House on the Strand. "Unrest" is available as a limited edition cassette + digital via Bandcamp, and streaming on all digital platforms as of today. Link in bio! • Welcoming London-based artist House on the Strand to the Eastern Nurseries fold following his impressive 2024 debut, "Heroine", Ruben Elbrond-Palmer channels a sombre, cinematic sense of sound with "Unrest". Interpolating the visual sensibilities of some of his favourite artists, filmmakers, and photographers into the sonic field, Elbrond-Palmer’s palette cuts loose from the percussive elements of his previous work, blending analogue synthesis with repurposed guitars, haunting melodies, and field recordings that call to mind the hazy delirium of a dusty summer’s day. Sitting at its core, "Unrest" places harmony front and centre, with each sombre movement rising and falling as electric fences hum, helicopters hover overhead, and unknown events are set in motion. Deceptively simple, the resultant album is gestalt—an elegy of melancholic moments, lost to the world. “Just because you wander the desert, it does not mean there is a promised land.” — Paul Auster Eastern Nurseries no. 41 • Written & produced by Ruben Elbrond-Palmer Recorded in London, Kobaek & Aude, 2019-2024 Mastered by Ike Zwanikken @lucky_bloke Cover photo by Andrew Weathers @the_land_ethic.wav

@easternurseries and Annexia present an evening of extreme and beautiful electronic music in the cellar of @ad_england Expect an admixture of ambient, noise, and downtempo. All poised to reach towards the ineffable eternal. This event will be seated, and thus capacity will be strictly limited. Tickets on RA. CANADIAN RIFLES (@aftertheangels69 ) is the solo moniker of Porto-based experimental musician Rui P. Andrade. At the helm of the Eastern Nurseries imprint, Andrade’s recorded music is characterised by its boundless sensitivity, with his ability to convey delicate emotions via opulent yet subtle sonic processes. Lurching between heavily textured electronics, alluring melodies and an ether-like sense of fatalism. @burning.pyre is a Newcastle-upon-Tyne based producer and composer. Remaining true to his atmospheric and melancholic ambient roots, Burning Pyre has broadened his web of influences to incorporate elements of dub, downtempo and glitch music into his sonic palette. He pairs organically shifting ambience with skittering percussion, cavernous sub bass and textural pops and clicks. @adrian__steele__ is a Manchester based producer, who uses his eponymous solo project to explore the furthest reaches of catharsis and melancholia. His music is characterised by swathes of ambience, sub bass, screaming feedback, and emotive vocals. ‘A small piece of eternity washed up with the flotsam of time’.
