Looking for a light artist/designer/technician who is interested in doing lights for my bachelor concert at RMC on the 22nd of june🤞🏼 I’m thinking about it is a work in process, with a possibility to be worked on after the concert as well, so it doesn’t need to be fully “done” for the show. Lets see what’s manageable for both of us.
Dm me if interested and I’ll ellaborate on the project, share the music, thougts etc 🙏🏼

We’re excited to share Markus Sollid’s new double single, ‘Redeeming Horizon / Low Dweller’ ✨
The release offers a first glimpse of his upcoming album ‘Elastic Embrace’, arriving this fall. Moving through an electroacoustic landscape, the music unfolds between light and darkness, warmth and cold - inhabiting the tension where these forces meet.

✱ SWINE PREMIERE ✱ New double single "Redeeming Horizon / Low Dweller" by @markussollid via @rhz000 Copenhagen-based label dedicated to showcasing some of the best experimental music from Denmark and more.
Markus Sollid presents the double single as a peek into the album Elastic Embrace, to be released this fall 2026. The double single is a taste of the way the album expands on the ambivalence we live with when we experience our foundations and relations transform into something new. Light and dark, gloom and hopefulness become two sides of the same coin where emotions that seem to contradict, instead live side by side and become something else, something that expands us.
It's a fascinating piece, and it's a great deal to put this wide, rich, and imaginative musical world into just two tracks.

Markus Sollid:
@markussollid is an electronic composer and musician who works at the intersection of the acoustic and the electronic. In recent years, he has expanded his electroacoustic palette and introduced a wider range of acoustic instruments into his music, in contrast to his earlier focus on the saxophone. This process has resulted in a richer and more organic sound that also characterizes his purely electronic music. At the concert, he will perform a large selection of unreleased music, which will be released later in the fall of 2026 on the Copenhagen-based record label Rhizome.

Markus Sollid joins Eastern Nurseries with “Spirit Cable Error / Fluctuating Stasis”, a two-track EP that effortlessly weaves blissful drones with jittering granular artefacts. Departing from the saxophone-centred approach of 2023’s “Coastline Between Now and Never” (Forlaget Kornmod), Markus’ sonic palette expands further, setting soaring leads against submerged bass lines and gentler percussive elements - a new horizon for the Copenhagen-based composer & producer.

Markus Sollid will perform a special concert as part of our opening on Saturday the 22nd 18:00!
Markus Sollid is an electronic musician based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In a combination of electronic and acoustic sound sources, he creates an atmospheric sound universe where repetitive motifs and drones merge into walls of sound that fade away the contours of the individual parts; like interfering waves amplifying and blurring each other.
I’m playing this coming Friday in the Ministry of Culture’s backyard for their @kulturnatten event. The concerts starts at 18:30, I’m on at 21:30.
Come by!
Released some material I did a couple of years back on @forlagetkornmod yesterday 🌱 Two improvisations made with saxophone and guitar pedals. Hope you’ll enjoy it! Thank you @mathias_augusta for mastering it and @forlagetkornmod for putting it out!
