Does the suffering of American people who are addicted to drugs supersede the needs of the Gabonese people for dignity and respect of their territory and land?" — @Sage_Izzy , Co-Executive Director of MAPS.
Trump's executive order just unlocked $50 million for ibogaine research. But what do we owe the Gabonese people? What is MAPS' role in getting that right?
Full conversation with @EamonArmstrong on The Psychedelic Therapy Podcast.
“We can pass 10 executive orders. We can put $500 million for drug development. And if we don’t have people who are willing to hold that space... we’re not going to get anywhere.” - Ismail Lourido Ali, MAPS Co-CEO
In the wake of the April 18th executive order, Ismail Lourido Ali (@sage_izzy ) sits down with Eamon Armstrong (@eamonarmstrong ) on The Psychedelic Therapy Podcast (@psychedelictherapypod ) to break down what it actually means for practitioners: legally, politically, and ethically. They cover ibogaine’s sudden rise, the risk of silver-bullet thinking, and the ethics of bringing indigenous medicine into Western pharmaceutical pipelines.

What does it feel like to climb every mountain and arrive at the top feeling... nothing? Chris Stakich knows.
Chris is the new CEO of @summit , the 18-year-old community behind Summit at Sea. On today’s show we talk about following the script until it breaks, the specific loneliness of high performers, what really happened with Powder Mountain, and what Chris is promising the community now that Summit has been acquired by events.com. Oman w/ Eamon 🏜️
For Christmas this year Eamon took me to the Middle East. A magic carpet ride through palaces, mountains & deserts…
Part of it an Arabian dream, with geometric patterns, giant mosques, coffee and dates in gold cups, and the sweet burning of frankincense wherever we went.
A big part was the nature: hiking and swimming in palm lined wadis, driving on mountain dirt roads, dune bashing in the desert with a crazy guide.
It was also an entirely new culture. A historic trading nation that recently found oil, now adopting western fast food, coffee shops, and clothing stores selling items you’re not allowed to wear. A sparsely populated land that prioritizes peace, quiet, and modesty.
Quite different from any other Christmas I’ve had, we celebrated at a remote desert camp by going completely offline. A little breather to relax, reflect & enjoy the magic.
This was all Eamon’s idea, planning & execution, I was just the photographer of this incredible adventure he created. Thank you for the ride ❤️🔥

Phoenician settlers named an island in the Balearics after the Egyptian god Bes. They called it Ibossim. Today we call it Ibiza.
Unlike the towering figures of other Egyptian gods, Bes is a bow-legged dwarf. He’s the god of the party, of sex, and of those iconic white fincas that dot the island. His revelry is a marathon of well-paced pleasure.
The Phoenicians named the island after him because there were no snakes there and Bes famously scares away venomous creatures with his loud instruments and wild dancing.
There is no temple dedicated to Bes. His temple is the neverending party. You can still catch him on the best dancefloors shaking his lion’s mane, sticking out his tongue, and protecting the vibe for all of us.
What is power, really?
And how does it play a role in our most erøtik expressions? In our newest episode, the indomitable @kimiinch joins us (in bed) to unravel the heart of ethical dømination.
Together, we explore the evolution from performative døm to embodied erotic leader, how to work with fantasy as soul medicine, and why surrender is a skill for Doms too. Kimi shares her framework of “power with, not power over” and real talk about attunement, humiliation, theater kid k**k, and the healing power of endings done right.
