Nelson Of The East - Super Deception | Nummer Music (NUMM15)
Super Deception dives into the uncanny beauty within the everyday, drawing inspiration from M.C. Escher’s idea of “super deception”: the art of creating the impossible without illusion. Nelson of the East translates that concept into sound: deep, tactile basslines and intricate percussion twist familiar rhythms into hypnotic new forms. Textures and samples are lifted from their origins and reimagined, creating tracks that feel both ancient and futuristic, physical and dreamlike. The result is an electronic landscape where sound folds in on itself: a timeless, shape-shifting exploration of rhythm, resonance and perception.
Nelson of the East is a Berlin-based sound artist, producer and educator. He operates at the intersection of experimental composition and club culture, shaping his craft both as a music teacher and behind the scenes as an experienced ghost producer.

-Amanita is the brain behind the tripped out @carpet___airlines events and the Bologna based party series @sinestesie_ , where she dispenses her signature mixture of psychedelic downtempo and leftfield ambient oddballs.
-Nelson of the East is an experienced music teacher and a maestro in the studio. After releasing a couple of mind bending EPs on @tartelet_records , the Milan-based producer joins Nummer Music with his Super Deception EP.

Together we've experienced what can be called a full puzzle of emotions, unforgettable moments and many sunrise memories - all bounded together by a relentless pursuit of reaching the finest soundscapes.

Over the past years, Realismo Magico has developed a distinctive sonic and visual identity — blending bold drag performances, experimental dj sets, and immersive atmospheres across a variety of venues, from underground clubs to listening bars.
For this final one-night event, the crew takes over @nuovoanfiteatromartesana in Milano, turning it into a space for collective ritual, deep sound, and contemplation.

We’ve been fans of Emmanuel’s for a long time as one half of DJ duo and label @nummer_music . Manu is a deep digger and curator, shown not only on his impressive digging CV including formative years at London based @kristinarecords and current employment at Berlin gem @soundmetaphors , but shines through clearly in Nummer’s catalogue, including some personal favourites by @apsychicyes and @secondcousin_ . His genre-fluid approach also shapes his productions and DJ sets which range deliciously from twisted tech-house to driving techno and more progressive sounds.
