Vendor Spotlight: E2-E8 Records
Returning to the fair after popular demand we have E2-E8 Records. An East London label created to put new talent on the map, from ambient to techno and everything in between. The focus is very much on new local talents, often remixed by more established names. Don’t be surprised then to see local emerging artists like Avsluta, Miro Sundaymusiq, Orphic, or Szl0, next to remixers such as Marco Shuttle or S.O.N.S.
Through the years, E2-E8 releases have had significant support from prominent DJs such as Vladimir Ivkovic, Lena Willikens, Jane Fitz, Daniel Avery, John Talabot, among others. Come along on the 18th to grab these whilst you can!

If it spins, we’re into it… and this one’s a full day-to-night celebration of the wax.
For part one, Wax On Tap step in with a proper record fair takeover. Expect a stacked lineup of sellers, serious digging, and their DJs soundtracking the whole thing while you get lost in the crates. Food, drinks, records… all the essentials covered.
Then at 8PM we flip it into part two, AMF takeover mode.
We keep things rolling ‘til 3AM with Mariiin on headline duties, joined by our own Jos & Darush, plus George & Josh from Wax On Tap carrying the energy straight through the night.

"Building bridges between London and Milan, Italian producer Tagliabue releases Espansione on E2-E8, a double LP that further carves out the label’s progressive sound ethos.
On Espansione, music is divided into a four-part structure that moves from ambient to techno. Part 1 & 2 consist of stretched ambient landscapes with shimmering drones and unexpected layers of tribal hymns. Part 3 & 4 each consist of two tracks with progressive techno at its core. A conceptual core that frames progression and ritual as parallel elements rather than opposites.
Minimal Collective’s premiere pick is Essenza. A track that starts in a soft dream-like state while ending with tribal tension. A balance that sketches the album’s dualities and progression as a whole."

💫✨Album Release Day✨💫
Very happy to finally be releasing this album that I’ve been working on for several years... ‘These Things Take Time’ is out in the world! 🌍✨
The title is both an invitation to slowness and trusting in our processes; and partly a joke about how long it takes me to finish and release work. But I’ve done it and here it is 🙌
I’m really proud of this and am glad to finally let it go of it and share it. I hope it brings you some joy and some space for slowing down and for feeling.

‘On Longing’ the 2nd single from my upcoming album is out in the world today 🌍
A slow meditation on what it means to miss and long, to feel your heart pull towards the people you love. Both in the sweet tender longing ache of this, and the deep sadness when it cannot be met.
A collaboration with my friend @ganna_music whose recorded some beautiful vocals for it last year in London.

The track was made imagining floating above a vast natural landscape and what the textures, shapes and feelings of the experience might be. Recommend listening on headphones with eyes shut for the full experience 🎧 👀

Friends! I’m gonna release a record!
Delighted to say I’m going to release an album of music I’ve been slowly and lovingly working on over the past 5 years. ‘These Things Take Time’ will be released on Friday 26th Sept on @e2e8records
The first single will be out Friday 5th Sept ✨
This has been a long journey of making and exploring and I’m overjoyed to finally be sharing this music with the world (wide web).
Huge thanks to my wonderful brother @memoryplay_music for mixing this album so beautifully, and allowing it to blossom into its true self 🙏
Deeply grateful for the support of friends and loved ones who encouraged me through the hard bits of this, or were involved in the creative process and helped get to this point of being able to say ’It’s done’, and letting it go. As ever grateful for the community around me.

Naturalisten – Forms | (E2-E807)
Forms is the debut release from Naturalisten. Behind this name is Rado, one of the founders of the Unknown Species collective. They’ve put together some great underground parties in London through the years, giving space to new talents and sounds, and blissfully ignoring trends and fads. Rado’s colourful and imaginative take on deep techno shines through all the six tracks here. Fans of the sounds we often hear on the likes of Delsin, Nous’Klaer Audio, Spazio Disponibile, Bitta, Animalia, are likely to find plenty to love here. Starting with the subtlety of “Release The Tension”; passing through the swampy “Against The Tide”, the bleepy minimal drum’n’bass of “Woodpecker”, the acid deepness of “Aves Acid”; and landing on the early-morning atmospheres of “Canopy Dreams”, which we find very much reminiscent of some exquisite James Holden moments from a time long gone.
The final touch to an already beautiful body of work is added by Forest Drive West with his remix of the opening track “Release The Tension”. His reinterpretation slowly creeps in and wraps you up in a wave of low frequencies, before blossoming into an epic outro.
