So excited to share this show with you all! It's going to be such a lovely evening, and I hope you come join usđź’™
It's such an honor to share the stage with these wonderful musicians!! Here's more about them:
@e.rinmorse is your older sister who insisted on learning all her lessons, and making all her luck, the hard way. Inspired by the narrative-folk stylings of artists like Roger Miller, Peggy Seeger, and The Chicks, Morse spins yarns of observation and fabrication together to weave refreshing takes on generational curses, rural progressivism, and putting one foot in front of the other.
@eldestdaughtermusic is the solo project of musician Collee Williams. Although Collee devotes much of her musical energy to being the front woman of Virgo's Moon, she has now written too many songs for the band to keep up with and is thrilled for the opportunity to debut this new material alongside Erin and Hazel at the Living Room.
And here's a bit about me if I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet:
@hazelbasilmusic is a guitarist and vocalist based in Northampton, MA. Her music centers the strength she finds in community, introspection, and self-love. After realizing she was transgender in 2022, Hazel felt an immense surge of love for herself, her community, and music, and has been working to bring friends and strangers alike together over a mutual love of music ever since. Hazel has performed at venues across New England, including the Iron Horse, the Academy of Music, and Club Passim. She is also known locally for her work hosting monthly queer open mics at the Parlor Room in Northampton, MA. Hazel hopes that her work leads audiences to find more space for complexity, joy, and compassion. In the face of oppression, our joy is more important than ever.
Last but not least, I'd love to thank the wonderful
@rynnie.mp3 for the beautiful poster!! Y'all should go check out their art!! It's beautiful!(Obv)
I hope to see you at the show :)
With love and warmth,
Hazel
