We have been hard at work on of the first-ever Antenna Base recording projects! WMass/NY musician Erin Morse’s debut EP has been an absolute joy to work on over the summer. So happy to have @lilah.asbjornsen as the project’s lead engineer—her ear & vision for the recording process has helped shape this project into a balanced, nuanced folk EP that plays to its influences while doing something entirely new & unique.

Such an eventful day in Watertown MA for their annual porch fest!! Had the distinct pleasure of joining @soulo_band for a sort of improvised set. For our first time together I think we pulled it off! Lovely group of talented, TALENTED musicians who are not one to miss.
Another great @hushpuppy.mass gig—these just keep feeling better and better as we play. So grateful for this band and the music we’re able to share.

it’s been a rough ride this year. lot of unexpected challenges. feeling adrift. I got to see cabaret performed 4 times and though I love it all this song has stayed as a shining light. also I’ve always wanted to figure out my own arrangements to songs and this was a fun way to start.

This whole thing was a lot less chaotic than I thought it would be! “Boston on St. Patty’s Day” has a ring to it but it was a chill, good vibes show with some talented local musicians and us playing the part of the out-of-townies.
