🎉 Exciting Announcement! 🎉 I’m buzzing to share that DYNAMIC DANCE (previously ChekYaMoves) is now officially a registered Community Interest Company (CIC)! 🌟 Entering this new era filled with gratitude and excitement as we enter a new chapter 2024 and beyond. I want to thank everyone who has been a part of the dance journey so far, either by attending my classes, workshops or just supporting this page. You inspire me every day! 👏🏽✨🔥 A special shoutout to my amazing co-directors @the1devotion_ and @jaleh_fallah for their support and guidance! 🩷 sorry things have been a little quiet around here recently. We’re taking a short pause!✨ please read below 👇🏽 Over the next month, things may be a little quieter than usual. This is because me (Chekere 👋🏽) is taking some time to focus on the final stretch of my Masters in Youth Work & Community Development in Leeds 🎓 while I complete my research dissertation and everything that comes with it! Balancing full-time work as the Youth Development Manager at Adventures Hub, studying full-time and running this nonprofit dance organisation hasn’t been easy to navigate 🫠. As much as I love being a busy bee 🐝 and working 6 days a week, it’s definitely been catching up with me… and honestly, I haven’t been my best self recently 🙃🙃 So, I’m choosing to take a short break to rest, reset, and give my studies the attention they need - so I can come back with full energy, fresh ideas and exciting plans for the rest of the year! 💫 This does mean that some classes and workshops will be paused temporarily, and responses to emails/messages may be a little slower than usual. If anything is urgent ‼️ please contact me directly via my mobile. Wednesday lunchtime ladies Aerobics’s will still continue as normal 🙌🏽 Being neurodivergent means academia doesn’t always come naturally to me hahaha, but I’m determined to finish this Masters and (eventually 👀) move on to a PhD!
