It was an absolute pleasure working for Dymond Bricks at the LinkedIn corporate headquarters in Sunnyvale, California!
The team consisted of LEGO Certified Professional Graeme Dymond (@dymondbricks ), LEGO Master Nick Della Mora (@brickinnick ), LEGO Brick Artist Sam Malmberg (@groovybones ), and me, LEGO Brick Artist Shawn McLeod (@hfxbrx ). Working alongside these elite builders will always be an honour for me.
Over the span of two days we crafted an immense brick-built tower, detailed with dozens of unique and inspiring environments. Approximately 24,000 bricks were used, including one rabbit element! Can you find it?
To wrap up the project, we invited hundreds of very excited LinkedIn employees to design themselves as a minifig. These were added to the structure to bring it to life! Even a tiny Mohak Shroff can be found enjoying the trees surrounding the building!

This model premiered at #ibmtechxchange2024 this week, after several years of planning and building - an IBM System 2 Quantum Computer Cryostat!
This may be my favourite creation I've made to date. Had to come up with lot of fun part usages to capture the appearance of the flowing cables and small funky details contained within.
The model is fully suspended, and built at a 1:1 scale. We decided to use mirrors to achieve the appearance of three units (which is a typical arrangement for the System Two cryostats). This helped reduce the footprint of the model, making it easier to transport and take up less room at trade shows - with the added bonus of allowing the viewer to see all angles of the build at the same time.
Thanks to all the amazing partners at @ibm who I had the pleasure of working with on this project! Now when I get asked "what's my favourite project I've ever built?" I can point to here for my answer.
