The Kasbah is up and we’re ready to welcome you to our Spring Party with @dummerdownbrewery starting with a plant sale at the garden room and rolling into the evening with tunes and delicious food cooked by us.
Plant sale starts at 10 up at the Garden Room with tours of the market garden, coffees and cakes.
Then from 2pm @dummerdownbrewery will be transformed into a merry Spring Fayre with pints, food, entertainment and fantastic music running til late.
Our tent stays up for next weekend’s @latespringfolkfest which is well worth a visit if you haven’t yet got a ticket - do so! The spirit of folk and dance lives strong, check it out!
TWO WEEKS UNTIL LATE SPRING!!!!!!!
In exactly 14 days we’ll all be gathered at Dummer Down together listening to beautiful music, drinking cider in the sun and eating glorious food.
There’ll be fiddles in the barn, dancing in the taproom, wildflowers, workshops, camping, Morris dancers, strangers becoming friends, and at least one person saying “I don’t even like folk music normally…”
We’ve put so much love into this festival and we genuinely can’t wait to share it with you all.
23rd May • Dummer Down Farm
Last batch of tickets available now via the website 🌞
Check out our new farm website! We’ve bought everything together under one roof so you can find information about the farm, events hire, camping, the brewery and local community all on one page.
You can also find information for all the brewery events and food trucks by clicking on the calendar in the brewery section.
Kicking off our first live music SUNDAY SESSION is Kalopsia!
3-piece Alt-Folk band, Kalopsia are Kathy Rhodes (vocals and guitar), Ken Bisson (electric violin), Les Jordan (drums) singing mostly folk originals.
The taproom will be open from 12-4pm with delicious pizza by @arty_stan_pizza
There will be multiple Sunday Sessions throughout the summer organised by Folksy Rootsy.
New run spot incoming.. 🚜
Dummer Down Farm is such a special place to me, loads of good trails and just a really nice place to switch off, get away from it all for a walk or run. Felt right to start bringing the MHAC run club out here so more people can enjoy it too.
We’ll kick things off on 7th May.
Meeting outside the brewery at 18:30 for a relaxed 5km trail loop, then heading back for a cold drink after 🍻
Nothing serious, just an easy run, good people, and an excuse to get moving after work.
The club’s growing, slowly, but that’s kind of the point, not trying to rush it, just building something solid with the right people.
Longer evenings, decent weather (finally), and more chances to get outside… feels like the right time.
