Woke up feeling a day late and a dollar short on getting my thoughts together for this joyous day of celebration, reflection, and mindfulness. How did I come to find myself in this predicament? Well I could think of a few situations within just the last 12 hours of being in Vegas but truth be told those are the moments that fill me with such passion, love, admiration, and desire for you and the life we live with one another. As I sit and run the numbers I find the math is more than on our side. Am I a day late? Certainly not as I type this but only if I count the days in which I hadn’t met you yet. Am I dollar short? After the night we had, this is definitely not the case. Plus I would never attempt to count the cost of what a life with one another is truly worth. Between the loving memories of all the shared laughter, tears, travel, music, the home we’re building and the love we share, I’d say I feel richer than most and grateful for every second I spend in your presence.
We laugh more than we cry, we cry of happiness more than sadness, and we never forget to share how much we love one another. It’s something I’ve appreciated greatly over the last nine years of loving you and three years of partnership. Thank you for being such a genuinely loving, caring, and thoughtful partner. For enlightening my life with the merging of our passions, curiosities, and life goals. And most importantly, for the space you’ve created for us to grow and understand ourselves in this wild wild world. You’ve made your presence feel like a cloak of invincibility to which I wear into the world each and every day in the constant pursuit of progress.
Happy Anniversary Eden! I love you more than words could ever express but I look forward to spending each and every day I have left on this earth searching for the right ones. Love you! Always 💜

One of my favorite parts of the 22 Jumps retreat was getting to be part of @dthomas360 and his mother @momma_thomas1167 jumping together. She did a tandem with @nreyes1092 and @tandembasemoab and he followed her off rocking the @nomadic_research rig. Love you guys and glad you got to share that together! 🖤🪂

I thought I had felt nearly all possible emotions that could be felt standing on exit but watching your mom BASE jump right before you was indescribable to say the least. Life can have as many defining moments as we allow it to and you are no stranger to this fact of life. Each year for you is treated like a lifetime in and of itself as you seek to learn, grow, evolve, and test different aspects of yourself to find the limits of happiness, frustration, creativity, and love. I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to love each version of you that has prioritized different experiences, interests, sensations, and goals. These shifts and the water like nature of your soul has led to many profound moments for you and for me as well.

This jump was the perfect encapsulation of the weekend. The @22jumpsproject flag demonstration jump to close out the event was not only a huge success but showcased the beautiful community that comes together to make these fundraisers possible. A bridge full of smiling faces and helping hands (big thanks for all the PCAs) and a landing zone full of canopies, close friends, and community. We share this wonderful bridge and town with some truly special people and this year we had the pleasure of sharing it with @lorenzodemuro , @claireadactyl_ , and all the shining faces at the Spring Fling boogie.
When I say this jump was the perfect encapsulation of the weekend I meant it. Landing directly in the arms of one of the other event organizers hosting at the bridge this weekend was the storybook ending to a picture perfect event.
Thank you to everyone who supported on site and from afar!! Your love and assistance made this all possible and for that I am truly grateful! 💜💜
I’m currently 460 miles from home and feeling every bit of it. If you ever doubted the saying that distance makes the heart grow fonder then I’m living proof because this weekend away has been one consumed by thoughts of you, thoughts of this day, and of our lives with one another! I look forward to returning home and properly celebrating your birthday but for now I’ll kick things off with this post and these memories.
Cheers to yet another unforgettable journey around the sun and thank you for blessing this earth and my life with your presence. You deserve more adoration than I can ever deliver so I welcome the world to help me sing out Happy Birthday Eden! Love you! Always💜
