These eucalyptus stems, handcrafted entirely from sugar paste, reminded me how much beauty there is in foliage alone. The deep reds and dusty greens, the delicate curves, the soft movement of each leaf… nature never needs to try too hard to be inspiring.
I love creating flowers, but I find just as much joy in recreating the details that often go unnoticed. The leaves, the texture, the subtle colour changes — all the little things that make botanicals feel alive.

Clay + Ash has just finished, and I realised the best thing about this exhibition, for me, was seeing the number of people who had the chance to woodfire by being in my class at ASP and have carried on with it. It was the first time it’s really sunk in that I’m in the middle of the chain of learning now, giving back as well as still looking up to my own heroes. Very grateful - Team Tuesday forever! 🙏🏼❤️

What a fabulous afternoon!
We only got around a few of the @mahurangiartist Trail sites of 2026 today and didn’t get nearly enough fan pics (especially at The Grey House!) as we got distracted with chatting and admiring but saw so many wonderful pieces of art and beautifully made functional ware.
