Harajuku Decora
Our trip to Japan was a total wake-up call. Everywhere we looked—on the subways, in crowded eateries, browsing 7/11, or just wandering the streets—we were captivated by a fearless sense of style. From experimental hair and clashing colors to the playful world of Kawaii, fashion in Tokyo felt like a personal narrative rather than a trend.
Walking through Harajuku, we were captivated by Decora. This maximalist explosion of toys, clips, and bright colours felt like a rebellion against the mundane. It made us wonder: What inspires someone to express their truest, loudest self so unapologetically?
That curiosity broke something open inside me. I felt a sudden need to push my own limits and experiment with a style I had never dared to explore. Stepping into that aesthetic was liberating. It was about shattering the “safe” boxes we build for ourselves and finding the courage to be seen.
