DRPILLA provided comprehensive structural engineering design for a multi-scope project encompassing new construction as well as preservation, restoration, and modification to a historic landmarked building. 🏗️✨
The new portion features a one-story, 13,680 SF parking garage with three stories of hotel rooms and amenities above, seamlessly integrated with the restored three-story, 8,637 SF historic structure and attic level.

Make Main Street Beautiful - Part 2✨
After completing our project at 145 Main Street, our team was proud to provide facade design services for 112 Main Street. The existing street-level facade was outdated and uninviting, so we redesigned it to be clean, modern, and welcoming, featuring large aluminum-framed glass windows that connect better with the street.
During construction, the removal of an old canopy revealed a hidden gem: an original stone arch in poor condition. We decided to carefully repair and rebuild it, preserving a beautiful historic detail that now enhances the new facade.

The monastery for the Carmelite nuns of Fairfield, Penssylvania has old world structural systems - unreinforced gravity masonry construction utilizing cut stones and true timber roof framing construction. DRPILLA provided the structural design for this quaint self-sufficient community.
