2006… a painting that really opened things up for me at the time. Made for Mario Diacono when he had a gallery @arslibriltd1 in Boston. Mario’s exhibitions at the time were always one large painting shows. Making this painting changed so much for me at the time. Mario pushed me to go much larger than I was comfortable with which significantly impacted my work after. It is Mario’s bday today and I will forever be grateful for the times I was lucky enough to spend with him. Thank you Mario ❤️ @diaconogallery .
