Join us for @andreakconnell 's Visiting Artist Workshop 'Colorful Heads' 💘 In this 2 day intensive workshop, we will build and underglaze fabulous, colorful heads! Andréa will demonstrate her hollow building technique that she uses to build at any scale. We will talk about facial expression, and how to tell a story through gesture and gaze. On the second day of the workshop, we will go over underglazing techniques and firing methods. Andréa will demonstrate how she develops patterns and color that work in conversation with the emotion of her pieces. Everyone will have the opportunity to underglaze their heads.
Artist Talk and Presentation: Wednesday, May 6th, 6:30-7:30pm, FREE!
Workshop: Saturday, May 9th & Sunday, May 10th, 10:00-5:00pm, $400 per person
